Coffee should be for everyone! I’ll say that again. Coffee should be for everyone! Most coffee lovers know what they want but don’t know the difference between fresh roasted and fresh ground coffee. I’m here to give the best quality product for all to enjoy. We can talk about the history of beans and where they come from and all that wonderful knowledge but that’s what Google is for! Don’t worry I’ll post links for more education on coffee beans. Now back to what I’m trying to do for the world.
Why name it The King’s Fusion Coffee, Le Roy?
Well, my name is Le Roy (The King). As the King of Soul Food here in Canada that cooked a fusion of my grandmother’s Georgia Style cooking and my own creation I’m known for trust and giving my people the absolute best from me. The best of flavors to enjoy and to talk about. Now done with brick and mortar I want my people to taste what I taste everyday to start my mornings. Why be a King that does not share the best with his village? Throughout time in the history books we see that this never works when the King keeps all the goodies for himself. These same reasons forced me to open my restaurants and food truck. I have to be the guy that makes everyone feel equal with the best tasting coffee in Canada like I did with so many of my dishes. King Approved!!!! The King’s Fusion is my Brand of Coffee and Clothing for all to enjoy. The art on my clothing is my own personal art work that you can see throughout my site in the background and on some merchandise.
Why now Le Roy?
Why not now is the question! I’ve fed people from all over the world. Food is not what starts the day for most people. It’s coffee! Yes, chicken was great but not “the best part of waking up”! Personally I have poured roughly 20,000 cups of coffee in my career as an owner and after 12 years of doing so I know what the people really want. To start the day properly with a fresh roasted cup of coffee. And not just any coffee. Fresh Coffee delivered to your door weekly with no hassle of a line up or getting dressed to impress strangers. To be able to brag about a product that they can share with their friends and loved ones.
Who does your roasting?
I sourced the best roaster for my product! He even went to France to buy a roaster that is so old school they don’t even make it anymore. So yes, I picked a unique roaster that has been doing it for over 20 years and has over 2 generations of roasting in his family timeline. Trust is everything when dealing with someone who is keeping your customers happy worldwide with freshness and delivery. We as a team picked the perfect blend of beans for you to enjoy and we will grind them up for you! We are not like the other gimmick brands you see that only offer to their niche. We developed coffee products for everyone to have and be proud of! Plus we don’t over roast like most brands…we pay attention to the entire process so we can give you the best!
What are your plans?
My plan is to make a great brand to support local, national, and international charities for At-Risk-Youth and Heart disease. I believe that the children are our future and what we give them today leads us into a greater tomorrow. Knowledge, empowerment, and skills for our youth so they can be all they can be. I am a proud father myself and I want every child to have an opportunity to become what their passions and desires lead them to be with no obstacles or hurdles. My life before moving to Canada was all about giving back to my community because that is where the roots are grown. With no community we have nothing! With no leaders to follow we have nothing. With no children that want to make the world a better place we have failed as adults. We must give opportunity to the children of our future! I feel like the time is NOW and I can achieve all my goals with the help of my village.
My best friend DAVE aka Pop’s (Pop’s MOKHA Coffee is all for DAVE) passed away from complications of the heart and he had 4 incredibly talented children that loved him dearly. My goal is to donate to a charity for the Heart and also give back to the arts community that Dave loved with all his heart. I now manage his son’s music career in Toronto and will be launching his music with my coffee in the near future. The heart is where love is! The heart is what drives you to love things and to be a part of something greater.
