About Le Roy

brown maple leaf
Chef Le Roy Walden is a native of Detroit, Michigan. He was the very 1st American to come to Canada and open a 100% authentic Southern American Style Soul Food restaurant in 2008. With his grandmother’s recipes he created a fusion of Grandma’s cooking with his own interpretations of her teachings. 12 years have passed and now Le Roy has retired from brick & mortar and now has dived straight into the beverage business with a private label coffee brand with a local roaster. Why Coffee? Why Now? Coffee has been in Le Roy’s life since he was a little kid growing up in the urban suburbs of Detroit (Highland Park). It is here where he smelled fresh roasted coffee daily mixed in the air with freshly baked Wonder Bread from the local factories. During his journey as a restaurateur he saw how important coffee was to his customers’ lives daily. It became a ritual for restaurant goers. After 8 years of full service, 2 years of Delivery only and a food truck, he has decided to get into the Coffee business full time. Now is the perfect time to do so. With the rise of consumers drinking more coffee and more and more actual coffee shops are being socially distanced with fewer in-store customers, Why not offer freshly roasted to order Coffee delivered right to your door. My plan is to not recreate safe spaces for coffee lovers. My plan is for specialty coffee to be more universal for everyone. (Hence the name “The King’s Fusion). Many people enjoy coffee without the ambiance and weird settings for only certain groups to congregate. I want to make coffee for everyone to enjoy whenever and wherever they might be. I want to make people understand the value of coffee and its history while this industry grows past the old school negative incognation of Java and what it does to the body, mind, and soul.

Coffee should be for everyone.

Roast-2-Order means that if you did not order it, we did not roast it. Prior to each roast day we poll each of our customers and then we produce only that quantity of coffee.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Your order typically ships the next day, however we reserve the right to take an extra day to do the job well.
